'Thing' Examples

Need a little help thinking of your 'thing'? Check these out:

Practice something (plank, piano, eating vegetables).
Avoid something (sugar, caffeine, swearing).
Maybe you have set a goal to lose 5 pounds? Stay within your calories range and get these points.
Adding daily activity to your schedule? Get moving 30 minutes and these points are yours.
If you are doing a cleanse, follow your daily protocol and score.

This Opportunity is personal. Think about your fitness goals.
For example:
  • Maintain the physical ability to play with kids or grandkids another 30 years.
  • Lose 15 pounds for a fall Class Reunion.
  • Run a 5K in September.
Identify obstacles you may encounter:
  • Overindulgence in food or drink, many of us have easily identifiable items (sugar, alcohol, chips, lattes).
  • Lack of knowledge about what to eat and how to fit eating the good stuff into our daily lives.
  • Under-commitment to physical training.

Consider your goal, consider your habits. Give one up or add one in.
